Andjeas Ejiksson (SE)
Andjeas Ejiksson, artist and writer, graduated from the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm, 2004.
He is currently researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, Netherlands. His research centres on a letter theatre and the staging of a ‘letter play’, i.e. the production and performance of a theatrical piece that is written and distributed in the form of postal letters. The project is an investigation of the theatrical and dramatic aspects of writing, publishing and critical discourse. The project also deals with the idea of an audience: how the audience is related to the idea of an open anonymous public and what becomes of the audience when its members are picked out and addressed as individuals.
In 2003 he published the book “Texten” (Albert Bonniers förlag) together with artist Lisa Jonasson. He is also editor of Swedish art magazine Geist.
